For years I did not eat breakfast. And I mean years! Even as a kid I never ate cereal, still can't stand cereal lol! Oatmeal forget it. Eggs no thanks!
But as I got older and my eating habits started to catch up with me I knew I was going to have to make a change.
Now I do a smoothie just about every weekday morning. Super easy, energizing and filling.
My favorite and probably most made one is the Chocolate Banana
1 cup ice-1 Tbls. honey-2Tbls. almond butter- 2Tbls. Young Living Chocolate protein powder-1 banana-1/2 cup almond milk (unsweetened)
Into a Magic Bullet and give a whirl. The Magic Bullet is one of my absolute favorite appliances. They are always on sale at Kohl's and you can buy the big granddaddy at Costco.
A couple other great recipes:
Raspberry Honey
1 cup frozen raspberries-1 Tbls. honey- 2 Tbls. Greek yogurt (plain)-2 Tbls. Young Living Vanilla protein powder-1/2 cup almond milk (unsweetened)
Mango Pineapple
1/2 cup each frozen mango and pineapple chunks-2 Tbls. Greek yogurt- 2 Tbls. Young Living Vanilla protein powder-1/2 cup orange juice (low sugar)
Chocolate Coconut
1 cup ice-1/4 cup vanilla yogurt-2 Tbls. Young Living Chocolate protein powder-2 Tbls. unsweetened coconut shreds-1/2 cup almond milk (unsweetened)
And this one was on the Young Living Blog this week
Here is another link to check out about Mindwise which I have in the picture above. I am one of those people that if it doesn't taste good I won't take it so when I got this my first reaction was YUCK! My second was thank goodness it was a part of a free promo I received! But then I was on my Facebook group and someone suggested putting it in a smoothie!! GENIUS!!! I don't even know it's there and it's a great way to kick start the day.
And I have to give a shout to Young Living's Pure Protein Complete Powders! They are awesome and no soy!!
Get those shopping lists ready!
Have a wonderful weekend!!
