Secrets Keeper Coin Purse

Slowly but surely I will get  Affaire at Downton blogged:)

There is just so much it's overwhelming at the moment lol!

So bits and pieces......

This is a swap I hosted for the event.

We all had to find a vintage coin purse and make it a little fancier. We love to embellish!! There were 18 of us!

I had two people to make for.

This one was for Julie Weller. Which took me a little longer to come up with because well....I don't do dark. But in the end I loved it. That's what a lot of sparkle will do:)

I have to say......

I didn't want to give it away;)

But I did and I think Pamela really loved it.

And then Karen Valentine made for me and WOW!

I was shocked!!

One of her absolutely gorgeous fabric books!!

I have to take pictures of the inside because it is awesome! This weekend I plan on taking some pics of projects and the rest of my swaps since the sun will be shining. Oh wait I actually have to finish some projects first:/

Actually many friends that do....

Right now I am attending Affaire at Downton:)

Swaps were last night so I thought I would share one of the ones I did that I really loved!! Actually I really loved them all.......

It was an altered apron for my wonderful friend, Erin.

I actually sewed!! Second project I've used my machine for. I also didn't use a base apron but cut all my material myself. I have PLENTY so why not. So let imperfection reign!! There was a little swearing but not much. There was also a little seem ripping but again not much;)

I stand and sew that may be one of my {many} problems:)

I have this thing with vintage gloves at the moment. I have been finding them everywhere and they are so fun to alter. So for the pocket I used a vintage glove.........

It won't hold much but I can't imagine this will be used for much dirty work lol!!

And then it was all wrapped up and ready to go!!
