So Monday I am starting the taking my lunch to work thing.
I have been thinking a lot about what to put in my pretty pink bento box.
Actually the box is quite big and I am thinking that it can be my food source not only for lunch but also those little snacks I eat too much of. So if it's not left in my bento by 3 I'll have to wait for dinner. 3 is my scary hour when I want to devour the entire pantry and have a Coke.
I am sure no one knows what I am talking about lol:)
I will be starting simple with things like:
sliced apples, grapes or berries
sharp cheddar cubes
nuts of some sort, spicy pecans from TJ's are my favorite
pretzel thins, pita chips or a cracker of some sort
carrots, broccoli or celery sticks
Greek yogurt with onion dip mix, cottage cheese, almond butter or hummus
I won't lie I'll probably have a mini coke for a little while as I wean myself off. Maybe. And yes I have seen the "this is what coke does to your body after an hour" Facebook post. Buzz killers :/
Rome wasn't built in a day and neither is Andrea not eating a Mac truck for lunch. :)

If nothing else my bank account will thank me!

Off to make a shopping list for the weekend!
