Denise Hahn is teaching a very sweet class at the French General!!

Char, Elaine and I will be there:)

It's Elaine and I's annual birthday get together. Instead of going to the beach we are trying something a little different. So we are going to Pasadena for a bit and then to Home to eat a little something and off to French General. Which Elaine has never been to!! And I have been a bunch of times and I love it everytime:) I am excited!!

Bracelet love..............

I love bracelets!

Bangles, charm, chain, cuffs, fabric all of them!!

I only like to wear them in the summer with cute dresses and tees. Seems kind of dumb with sweaters and long sleeve shirts when they get lost in your clothes!

And because I am longing for summer (this winter has been awful all this stupid wind and dryness. I'd rather have the rain) I seem to be making bunches:)

I joined French General's Botanical Charm Club at the beginning of the year. So much fun! Every month a new kit. Here are a few...........

Now at our monthly Round Robin's we also do a project which was...........

Bracelets!!

These were so fun and so easy. Loved this technique and can totally see making oodles of these.........

I am starting to love wire more and more! So easy to manipulate and make into something gorgeous. Denise loves wire and she knows how to use it:)

Repurpose.........

What have I been up to lately?

A Lot!!

Affaire at Tiffany's is coming!

And I am in 5 swaps!!

A bottle, a tiara, a jewelry box, slippers and a charm.......

Oh my!

I am happy to say 4 out of 5 are DONE!!:)

Although I would love to show them all to you because they are so cute I don't want to give them away!!! I can't:( Who knows who reads this and I wouldn't want to spoil any surprises.....Erin ;)

But while I was making my bottle I got  the inspiration for this little beauty and since my hot glue gun was fired up and I had lace a flyin' I just kept on going............

Isn't she soooo stinkin' cute!!!

Her base is a vintage pharmacy bottle. Her top is a broken bit from a doll (that I got from Tara and Crystal who will be at Bead Works in Brea this coming weekend) and I hot glued it to a vintage tart tin for stability. Her skirt is cut up sari ribbon and lace with some bling chain thrown in. Also just some plain old chain that looks cool with beads and charms hanging from it.

This is how she started. I had three garage sale, flea market finds and I made them into something totally cool! If you have any artsy feeling in you, you totally understand. And if you don't well maybe you can least see the beauty of the insanity:)

Rainy days........

Finally a rainy day and I get to stay home!

So with wash going, cinnamon rolls in the oven (and no this girls does not do them from scratch, Pillsbury are just fine:) and a cup of hot chocolate I figured might as well sit down and write a blog post:)

My last post was about the tags I made for the 2nd Annual Spring Non Event at Earleen's in Arizona.

Which was a lot of fun!!

And I got there and back with no harrowing tales!

We did two projects at this non event.........

The first was a dress form with a skirt made of tags with Suzette. We swapped tags and made something like 26 tags for the class so we would have a super full, really pretty skirt. Using stamps, metal, lace, paint, buttons, bobbins and anything else you can think of. The paper line we used is "Wayfarer" by Bazzil. Corals, aquas, creams very pretty........

This is a picture of Annette's completed dress form. She finished her's at the non event lol.........

Mine is done but I didn't get a good picture of the whole thing but here are some close ups of the tags. So cute!!

So those are just a few of the tags on my dress form. You've got to take it from me it is ADORABLE!!

The second project was a mini book. Again with the dress form theme.......

This is the kit. There was so much stuff it was awesome!! And Kelli was so generous with all her lace and pretties!!

Isn't it just awesome!! We made those dress forms with saran wrap and barbie dolls. Which was a technique I had already learned from Karla Nathan so I was ahead of the game lol:)

So much fun!!

Earleen did an amazing job on all the decor and our table gift was to die for!

It was filled with lace and cards. Even a little notebook with a pretty dress form on it. And then a pretty mason jar filled with goodies to make a crown pin cushion. Earleen really outdid herself it was incredible!!

Well it's time to get started on my projects for today which includes a tiara for one of my Affaire at Tiffany's swaps:)
