I have a lot to be thankful for this Thanksgiving!
For starters............
He's home:)
That being the biggie. Here are some things I am just thankful for in general............
My kids. Duh! Who doesn't say their kids:) Each unique in personality, making me laugh so hard I cry, they are caring, loving and compassionate. And they make me want to get up every morning even when I've truly wanted to sleep for a hundred years.
My dad. Duh! For his health, caring and sense of humor. He truly is the most politically incorrect person on planet earth. But that humor is what has gotten him thru some not so nice situations. We have to laugh at ourselves and at others. If we take ourselves and others too seriously it's going to be a truly long life. Don't take that wrong way. Sometimes you just have to laugh at others stupidity:)
My brother Chris. Duh! He's such a caring person even though he doesn't want you to know it. He only gets aggravated with me for a minute when I ask him to go look at his used car inventory:) We never get upset with each other for very long because of what we've lost and we are the only ones who know.
My friends and family. Duh! Old and new. Without all of them I would have been very lonely this past year. They made everything fun and kept me so busy I barely had time to sit let alone wallow:) I can't even say enough to let you know how thankful I am for all of them. You know who you are!
My idiot dogs. Duh! If you could have seen Sandy curl up on Frank's lap and rest her head on his forearm as soon as he got home you would have melted. I swear sweetest thing EVER!! Bella for biting eveyones toes when they walk in and barking like a nut when the vacuum is on. So much so I want to kick you across the room! And Justice for being quite possibly the most annoying dog I've ever owned and that's saying something considering I've had a Dalmatian and a Chocolate Lab that ate a whole box of CostCo cookie mix one year. But you are a good walking dog and you pay very good attention to commands when we are out. Even though when we came up against those coyotes the other morning I knew you'd be about as worthless as Kim Kardashian at a spelling bee. I'm just kidding I'm sure she knows how to spell;)
My home. Duh! That we aren't upside down in it. That Chase lowered our interest rate with no paperwork, no haggling, no nothing. Now if that could happen for everyone else that would be awesome!! It's warm and cozy. I love knowing my children are all safe under it's loving roof that doesn't leak. I love working in it's spacious kitchen. That there is always food in the fridge for me to make something yummy and nourishing. That it has a nice big couch in the living room where Frank and I can watch tv, read magazines and books, have a drink and cuddle up together. It also can get rowdy with a room full of kids watching some scary ass movie. I love that everyone who comes over is comfortable and doesn't want to leave. I love that I have tons of bits and pieces from my mom and grandma that I can look at and hold whenever I need that reminder that they were real and were with me at one time. Oh and I can't forget my very own scrapbook room. AWESOME!!:)
Our Ford dealership. Duh! It's a beautiful thing that we have kept our small family run store open. Even through the worst of economic times. And when I say "we" I mean everyone from our techs to our cashiers. I appreciate every single one of our 74 employees! We are truly blessed:) I'd come in even if it hadn't been Taco Tuesday today;)
Let's see anything else............
White House Black Market jeans that say I'm a 4 when all others say I'm an 8 (damn you Lucky Brand), my new Juicy Couture track suit that I swear I could live in morning, noon and night (and the pants a small;), Buxom lip gloss so he'll look at lips and not my donk, long sweaters no reason lol, Chinese Laundry flats that don't squeeze my fat feet, Born boots that don't squeeze my fat calves (I really can't say "fat" I'm just not 6 feet tall and anorexic), VS Miracle bras, Hanky Panky panties that are one size fits all so I could be 130 or 200 wouldn't matter, all Dermalogica products that will let me hold off on getting that face lift a few more years, Mac bronzers that make me look like I should be among the living, Fekkai hair products (see picture above) I'm 38 years old enough said and last but not least I am thankful for all my friends who I know and I don't that read my crazy dribble for that makes me smile:)
Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!!

I have NO idea how I missed this but I have found it now. You make me cry and laugh at the same time. We may be right next door to each other (for now at least) and it's sad that we don't get to see each other more. I want you to know that even though we may not be sitting next to each other talking, reading your site makes me haooy, it makes me think that I am talking to you or listening to you. You are with me even when I sit at the hour hour of the day or wee hour of the night because I get to steal a few minutes time here and there. Love you! Keep blogging!
