Today is my #2 thing list so I decided to write about the first two things I would do if I won the MegaMillions lottery that I think was something like $181 Million. I always do this, think about what I would do. I don't know why considering you have to actually play the lottery to win and I don't:) But it's fun to dream.....
Number 1: I would buy the property the Redlands Ford store sits on so we never have to pay a lease payment again. Also I would give all my family and close friends the money to pay off their houses so they never have to pay a mortgage payment again and will always have a roof over their heads. I would pay off mine too;) And I would let Frank buy a house in La Quinta without worrying about the stupid Homeowner's Assocation dues.
Number 2: I would go down to the bank and to start get $100,000 worth of $1000 cashier's checks or money orders (whichever) and I would randomly give them out to nice people I come in contact with. People who smile and are pleasant that look like they could really use some good luck. Not people who are RUDE and try to run me down in the parking lot. Like this woman did yesterday, she gunned right past me and I was walking at a pretty quick clip even with my high heels on! I always try to hurry across when someone is waiting sheesh!! That is what got me thinking she would definetly not get a $1000.
I have a long list of things I would do but those are the first two things:)
Today I am 36. Wow!
Don't those look delightful?? Secret Spoon Sweets
Or we could have cake...
Chocolate is my favorite;) Chocolate Euphoria sounds about right to me!!
As most of you know I love to cook and especially bake! As my number 1 and final little chapter in my countdown to my 36 years on this earth and since I am dreaming of lottery winnings and chocolate in this post I might as well keep going.
My dream for when my kids are all out of my well kept nest I would love to open a little cupcake shop. With window boxes filled with flowers and little white wrought iron chairs and tables out front. Of course I will have a water bowl for all the doggies that come to visit and maybe a treat jar inside. Big glass cabinets with every type of culinary confection imaginable. Big white bookcases filled with cookbooks and gourmet treats like those at Stonewall Kitchen. A glass frig out front with milk, juice(apple juice in the glass apple shaped bottles, I loved those as a kid:) and soda. One of those espresso maker contraptions that make all the noise. A kitchen with big Viking ovens and refrigerators and stainless steel mixing bowls clanging around. The smells of chocolate, vanilla, strawberry, cinnamon to only name a few wafting thru the air all day long. A little vintage cash register. Simple white bakery boxes with rolls of seam binding hang from a rod in every possible shade available. Pretty music....... I could go on all day but I have laundry to do:)
Back to reality;)
Have a wonderful day!
